Chhota Bheem - Original Animated TV Series coming soon
Only two days left for the website launch…
It is indeed welcome news that so many of our Indian animation studios developing original content for television and the big screen.
Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd., who previously brought ‘Krishna’ to Indian TV screens, are now creating a new 2D cartoon series called ‘Mighty Little Bheem’ (Chhota Bheem) .
Although Bheem’s character is based on the legendary Bheem from the Mahabharata, the story is new and unrelated to the great epic. .
Synopsis:
The series is set in an imaginary town, Dholakpur in rural India and revolves around Bheem, a nine year old boy, who is a brave, strong & intelligent. His rival is Kalia Pahelwan, a jealous eleven year old bully, who is envious of Bheem’s popularity. Kalia, along with his sidekicks, Dholu and Bholu, always plots to embarrass and defeat Bheem but he never succeeds. All the children of Dholakpur look up to Bheem, as he solves everyone’s problems. Chutki, Raju and Jaggu the monkey are his closest friends.
The Chhota Bheem Series (13 x 22’) is currently in production and would be ready to air by March 2008, in 4 languages - Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu and is targeted at children aged between 6 and 12.
Let us hope, for the sake of the Indian animation industry, that this trend of creating original content not only continues but flourishes.

Thank you for your comment but I do not have the link for the video. I do not think it is even available online unless someone has uploaded it on YouTube.com. You could try there or contact the makers of the series directly! I am sure they will be happy to receive appreciation like this.

I have been watching ‘Chhota Bheem’ since quite sometime now, must say that it’s got a very good story, i liked it the way we inculcate the values & good morals in young generation.
It has got reasonably good animation, but I would love to see some more detailing in the Background, acc to me it would really enhance the visual appeal.

Chotta Bheem is my 1 year and 5 months old dauughters favorite show. Bheem is the word she uses more. The only programme which makes her always active. TV means only Bheem for her.

Today i sat and watched chota Bheem with my 2 kids age 3 and 19 months old.Its a good show but i was shocked to see that the director portrays that its OK for Bheem to steal Ladoos from Chudki’s mum’s shop.The show gives a negative impact on young children that its Ok and cool to steal things.Children try to repeat what they see on TV.So kindly try to censor and edit such negative things before telecasting on TV.
